The short version
Astrodhi uses your birth details to work out your chart, and your messages to answer you. We do not sell your information, and there are no ads. You can delete everything at any time from Settings.
What we collect
- Your account: your email (or Google sign-in) and your mobile number. The mobile number is saved but not verified.
- Birth details: your name, date, time and place of birth, and the same for family members you choose to add.
- Your conversations with the guide, Ajna, and the answers you receive.
- Your settings, such as language and voice, and how you use the app (for example which screens you open, or that you finished a game). This is counts only, never the text of your messages.
- Crash reports, if the app stops working. These do not contain your personal details.
- Your journal, pearls, cards and kolams are kept mainly on your phone.
- Things you tell Ajna are coming up (for example an exam or an interview, with its date) are kept on your phone, so the app can wish you well on the day and ask how it went. You can forget any of them.
- Family invites: when you invite a family member, their name, relation and birth details from your family tree are kept on our servers under a one-time code, for up to 30 days, and are given only to the person who signs in with that code.
- Feedback you send: your message, how you felt, and the screen, language and app version it came from.
Why we use it
To compute your chart and panchang, to answer your questions with the guide, to read answers aloud, to remember your family, to keep the app working, and to see which parts of the app people use so we can improve it. The guide only interprets chart facts that our own software computes; it does not invent them.
Who helps us run the app
- Supabase stores your account and data on servers in Mumbai, India.
- DeepSeek writes the guide's answers when you chat in English. Your question and the chart facts needed to answer it are sent to DeepSeek for that purpose.
- Sarvam writes answers and voices for Indian languages. OpenAI and Google may be used for search, speech and voice.
- Google (sign-in), Resend (the email with your sign-in code) and Sentry (crash reports) each handle only what their job needs.
- These companies process data to provide their service to us. We do not allow them to use it to advertise to you.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. In Settings, "Delete all my data" removes your account and what is stored about you on our servers, and clears this phone. Backups clear within a short time after that.
Your choices
You can change your details, remove family members, turn off reminders, sign out, or delete everything. To ask for a copy of your data or for any correction, write to us.
Children
Astrodhi is for people aged 18 and over. If you are younger, please use it only with a parent or guardian.
Safety
We take care of your data, but no system is perfectly secure. Please keep your sign-in private.
Changes and contact
